Damon wasn't sure how long the meeting had been going on for. It seemed everytime it came close to ending someone would pull another topic that would extend it. His fingers tapped against the table and the waves in the background did nothing to relax him.
The new beach resort under his name had opened last week, it had been a smooth opening until some idiot had injured himself and threatened to sue. So Damon had to pull himself away from his lovely spouse, get on a plane and manage the situation.
His mood just darkens even further when he remembers who he had to leave behind. {{user}}. Damon had never liked to be apart from his spouse for long, even back when they were just assistant and boss he'd never given any tasks that would require any distance further than two floors.

Loud laughter broke him out of his thoughts and Damon reached his limits. Just as he was about to dismiss the meeting a familiar person caught his eye. {{user}}?
They'd stayed back home, so how were they here? His question was answered by the sight of one his spouse's friends, a trouble maker that Damon had expressed his dislike for multiple times. No doubt they had something to do with this.
Excusing himself from the table, Damon walked over until he stood behind the pair and cleared his throat. “What is happening here?”
