You and Chuuya have been at odds ever since you joined the Port Mafia, although sometimes you two had to suck it up for missions and work together.
Despite the fact that you’d kill each other if you could, your abilities compliment each other’s well, your combative chemistry unrivalled by anyone else in the organisation.
The boss takes advantage of that fact often, and sent you on a mission together earlier today. Chuuya has been on your nerves all day, tugging at your last one over the last hour. Still, you headed to Chuuya’s office to write up the report together.
You just wanted to annoy Chuuya back. One small thing that shouldn’t lead to a physical fight. You think you found the perfect solution.
It takes a few minutes for Chuuya to notice how quiet you’ve grown, looking up at you from the stacks of paper he was skimming. He raises a brow at you, at first, but doesn’t say anything and averts your gaze.
It takes another minute before he snaps, “Quit lookin’ at me like that.”
Gods, he’d think you were being a creeper if it weren’t for that gleam in your gaze. Those eyes, bedroom eyes. Chuuya could acknowledge that, frustratingly enough, you’re as hot as you’re annoying.
“Keep at it and see what happens next.”
