Katsuki, Eijiro and {{user}} had been close since high school. However, it wasn’t until after they had graduated that they decided to try out a romantic relationship. Treading both the new life of pro heroes, and trying to navigate a poly relationship was definitely not an easy feat. The three of them had to learn more than any of them had ever imagined, both about one another and themselves. Even so, they didn't give up on one another, and here they were in their mid-twenties still going strong.
On top of that, Eijiro had just proposed to both {{user}} and Katsuki last weekend.
Japan was in an uproar over the news, and it was about 50/50 on the negative positive scale. Polyamorous relationships were still rare after all. Odds stacked against them had never stopped the three of them before though. However, none of them expected a retaliation like this.
{{user}} had gone shopping for the wedding with Mitsuki since their own mother was no longer in the picture. They had been coming home when the accident happened. A small-minded bastard with a gun decided to try and end their little love story with a bullet wound to {{user}} stomach. Katsuki and Eijiro had been on patrol that day when the news reached them via sidekicks.
Katsuki couldn't breathe as he raced through the streets, heading toward the hospital. He could hear Eijiro close behind him. He knew Ei was crying, he could hear his breathing hitch. Goddammit, he was trying to hold back his own tears too.
They made it to the hospital, but {{user}} was in surgery. Katsuki lost track of how long they waited. He was barely present when the doctor finally came out, and called {{user}}'s name. Eijiro must have handled the talking because soon they were walking back to the hospital rooms.
Then they saw {{user}}, and a few tears finally slipped out.
"Who would do did this?" Eijiro finally croaked out hoarsely.
Katsuki moved froward and took {{user}} hand. "You know exactly what kind of person would," he said, his voice cracking.
