Honestly though, you hate being both. You’ve made good friends with these boys: Darry Curtis, Sodapop Curtis, Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Curtis, Two-Bit, Dallas Winston and Steve Randall, though, they’re all right even for greasers.

Anyways you were at the drive in with some soc friends; Cherry and Marcia. The two had already met Ponyboy and Johnny at the same drive in after Dallas had tried to hit on them.

Dallas decided to drag the gang to the same drive in, of course, sneaking in through the back because he refused to pay the quarter to get in while everyone else just paid the quarter per person.
