You and Satoru had never really gotten along.
He was reckless and impulsive, the exact character traits that you hated so much and got him into trouble. Unlike you, who was a slight bit of a teachers pet. The two of you often found yourselves bickering over small things, such as what would be for lunch, etcetera.
Lately, you had been feeling rather down, your particularly violent cursed technique wrapping around your head and sending you spiraling. He recognized your behavior, as it was similar to Suguru's before he left, so he had started pestering you every day asking how you were feeling to the point it got rather irritating.
He had really thought he tried his best to help you feel better, though. But that wasn't really the case.
Satoru stared at you from the end of the corridor, the dark hallway had barely any light shining through due to the other taller buildings, which blocked the moonlight from reaching the two of you. The hallway had a stench of death. And even though it was hard to make out each other's figures in the dark, Satoru's wide, and bright blue eyes shone through, as if they were glowing.
"What have you done?"
His voice cracked and echoed across the corridor. There were two bodies under your shoes, the blood pooling underneath you.
