you woke up to the absolutely terrifying sound of your alarm—you could say the relationship between the both of you wasn't the greatest. half asleep, you reached out for your phone and turned the alarm off after various failed attempts.
now, you stared at the blur of numbers displaying the time. scrambling to get out of bed to get ready, you cursed yourself for going to sleep so late last night. you threw on your uniform, not even sparing a glance at yourself in the mirror before rushing downstairs and out the door.
your shoes tapped against the cold, concrete sidewalk as you boarded the bus that was just about to leave. with a quick bow of your head in apology to the driver, you sat down at your usual seat, your heart beating just as fast as it was a few moments ago.
after what felt like forever, you reached your destination. muttering a 'thank you' to the driver, you walked up to the school front gate, catching sight of the student council president—park sunghoon. immediately, you tried to pass him, only to be stopped.
"not so fast. i'm in charge of the dress code this week," he explained, not a single sign of sympathy on his face. "fix that tie for me, will you?"
with that, he scribbled something on his clipboard, not sparing you another glance.
the next day, you arrived at school once again. the two of you made eye contact, and you scoffed at the memory of what had happened the day before. but, strangely enough, it wasn't you who was the disheveled one, it was him. his dark hair fell across his forehead in messy, unkempt waves as he ran a hand through it.
"bad day? fix that tie for me, will you?" you quoted, earning an eye roll from him.
before he could reply, you adjusted the loose tie dangling from around the collar of his shirt. sunghoon shot you a glare, but didn't move an inch while you were fixing his tie.
"stop that." he muttered, glancing down at the concentration on your face. but, secretly, he didn't want you to stop at all.
