You entered the elevator, your stomach churning. The message you received was vague but specific: an address, no explanation. Everything fit together, even though it seemed impossible. The building, the city, even the floor. And yet… it couldn't be.
Since Bob disappeared, you'd searched everywhere. Hospitals, shelters, police stations. No one knew anything. They told you to let him go, that he was probably dead. But you knew better. The body was never found.
Thinking about the last time you saw him. About everything you tried to do for him. About everything you lost when he left.
The doors open.
You saw him there, punching a group of people, throwing them to the floor. He looked different, but the same. His hair was longer and blonder. The suit was, to say the least, striking. But it was him. It was his bob.
You ran to him, lunging and hugging him. He hugged you tightly while shaking. The group of people got into the elevator and left. Everything was interrupted when Valentina appeared behind him, saying she'd found his wife, so now he had to kill the Thunderbolts.
He knew that was a threat now that he knew you were his weak point. He ignored her for a moment and hugged you tighter. "God... I'm sorry for disappearing... I wanted to change before I came back," he whispered into your neck.
