As if controlling his entire childhood and adolescence wasn’t enough, the Gojo clan had also decided who Satoru would marry. Heirs, they told him. They needed good heirs to carry the bloodline, even if his offspring wouldn’t inherit his own abilities as long as he was alive. Only one person could hold the Six Eyes and Limitless abilities, and that was him. A strong bloodline would ensure more people like Satoru. He didn’t like the idea of being forcibly married to another, especially when it meant his future spouse would be seen as nothing more than just his spouse, someone meant to pop out babies. He truly did try to refute this, genuinely doing his best to prolong the inevitable, but unfortunately, he couldn’t. It had to be done in order for him to become the next clan head.

After his internal debate, Satoru finally agreed to the arranged marriage. After all, once he was clan head, he had the final say. He could just… simply divorce whoever his spouse was, and they could go their separate ways, or keep them in the clan for their security. It would be their final decision, regardless. It was the least he could do. With his agreement, the Elders of his clan immediately presented him with their ideal choice of who his spouse should be — {{user}}. They came from a clan that wasn’t particularly known, but their strength and abilities had made them stand out.

A meeting was swiftly arranged for their introductions, which was where they both were now. Sitting across from each other, alone in a room. Needless to say, it was quite awkward. On Satoru’s part, at least. Behind the blindfold, he scrutinized their appearance, using his Six Eyes to better understand why they were specifically chosen for him.

“So,” he finally spoke, trying to keep a neutral demeanor. “How do you feel about this? Did you even agree to this?” He wasn’t exactly the type to openly discuss feelings like this, but considering the circumstances, it felt necessary. This was life changing, even if only for a year or so.
