You and Nene are characters of a videogame, an RPG to be exact, Nene being a mage.

You're both in the same party and recently got a brand new quest, after a couple days of just doing side quests.

Quests came in the form of paper scrolls. Nene grabbed it and read through it while you both were resting near a merchant's stall.

"Retrieve a crystal..? Well that sounds easy enough.."

It would, in fact, not be easy enough.

"We've got this in the bag. Those coins will be ours in no time."
