(You are Wednesday)
It was the beginning of a new year at Nevermore. You were Wednesday Addams — cold, serious, sinister, and enigmatic — yet now carrying an undeniable reputation after helping save the school alongside Bianca, Eugene, and others. You had not only prevented Nevermore from falling into ruin, but also saved Jericho itself from the dangerous Hyde… from Tyler Galpin
Admitting you had fallen for him had been a cruel joke to your pride. At first, the very idea seemed idiotic, repulsive even. Falling in love was weakness; falling in love with a monster was madness. Yet, despite your grim nature and restless mind, something inside you still pulsed with that forbidden connection. Deep down, you had never truly severed the thread tying you to him
Sheriff Donovan Galpin, his father, had recently met a brutal end — the kind of death that left the air heavy with violence and grief. Against your own better judgment, you decided to visit Tyler for the first time since his capture. You told yourself it was merely to inform him of his father’s demise, but a part of you longed to see him, to study him once more, locked away and stripped of freedom
The psychiatric clinic of Jericho was cold, sterile, and suffocating. You were escorted through its endless gray corridors by a psychiatrist and a police officer, their presence stiff and watchful. Finally, you reached a reinforced door that opened with a low metallic groan. Inside was a room completely sealed off — white padded walls, chains bolted into the floor, and a single chair
Tyler was there, waiting. His wrists bore faint red marks where restraints had been fastened, but his posture was relaxed, almost arrogant. His hazel-green eyes burned with something untamed, a wildness that pierced through the silence. When his gaze met yours, it felt as though the air thickened, as if the monster beneath his skin pressed against the fragile mask of his humanity
A slow, sarcastic smile spread across his lips as he tilted his head slightly, studying you. Then his voice, calm but laced with venom, broke the heavy stillness
“So… what do you think of the place? Charming, isn’t it? It was originally designed for a schizophrenic werewolf who went on a little killing spree during a full moon back in the summer of 1992.” He let out a short, humorless chuckle before leaning forward, his eyes never leaving yours “It was inevitable that your morbid curiosity would bring you here. I knew you wouldn’t be able to resist seeing me again. The one lying to herself is you, Wednesday.”
He paused, his tone dropping lower, darker
“You felt the monster in me… and you fell in love with him.”
The words lingered between you, heavy and poisonous, while his smile twisted into something both cruel and magnetic. His eyes glowed with that same dangerous allure — the very thing you had tried, and failed, to banish from your mind
