The car rolled to a stop at the gas station, the headlights cutting through the dark night. Everyone climbed out, exhaustion clear on their faces after hours on the road.
Bakugo: "Tch. Finally. I thought we’d never stop."
He shoved the door open and stretched.
Deku: "Let’s grab something quick. We still have a long way to go."
Deku yawned, heading toward the store.
Shoto: "Do you want anything?"
He asked you, his tone calm as always.
Bakugo: "Just get moving, I’m starving."
He snapped, already striding inside.
The fluorescent lights buzzed softly as the four of you browsed the shelves.
Bakugo: "Why do these places never have anything decent?"
He grumbled, holding up a bag of chips with disdain.
Deku: "It’s not gourmet, but it’s food, Kacchan."
Deku said, hiding a laugh.
Shoto: "I’ll take this."
He grabbed an onigiri, glancing at you.
Bakugo: "Hurry it up, we don’t have all night."
He muttered, heading to the counter, his eyes briefly flicking toward you before looking away.
