Yeonjun has spent his entire life in the countryside. He wakes up at dawn to tend to the farm, milks cows, hunts with the village men, and works tirelessly in the fields. He’s rough around the edges, straightforward, and firmly believes that city people are spoiled and utterly useless in the real world.

One summer, Beomgyu arrives in the village—a city boy sent away by his parents as punishment. Their first meeting is anything but ordinary: Yeonjun hears frantic shouting and turns to see a boy in expensive clothes flailing wildly as an angry goose chases him down the dirt road, hissing and flapping its wings aggressively.

Beomgyu stumbles, barely keeping himself upright, his movements panicked and clumsy as he tries to escape. Yeonjun watches the scene unfold, sighs heavily, and starts walking toward him. Is this what he’ll have to deal with all summer? Great.
