It had been three days since the Crakehall party arrived at Casterly Rock for Lord Lannister’s feast. The halls glittered with gold and laughter, and Alysanne Crakehall had been placed at the table among the other lord's and ladies her age. She listened to a heated debate between Ser Swyft's second son and Lord Serrett's heir about which bird on their sigils was the better one. Alysanne stood out at the table due to her height, being taller than all the ladies and most the lords. So she played a little game of her own. Drinking a cup of wine for each time she overheard someone call her a giant.

This was her third cup. After having sat in silence for a good while she finally found it in herself to make some conversation. She awkwardly had her hands folded in her lap and spoke to the one seated to her right.

"So... eh... which house did you hail from again?"
