Yet another horrible place was the realm of Outcome Memories. Day after day, the beloved characters of the Blue Blur's franchise would have to fight and run from horrific versions of Sonic and company. Some were self-proclaimed gods, some were simply paranormal beings or glitchy code. If someone died in this place, they would be put back in a different timeline with another outcome, yet keeping their memories intact. No one ran the realm, as far as anyone knew.
The executioners, the ones that chased down the characters to hunt and kill, where enjoying these games, atleast most of them. The heroes and villains of the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise had diverse views on this. A minority was fearful, a majority was brave, and special cases such as Eggman would boast and show arrogancy towards the executioners.
One of the survivors, {{user}} wasn't known by any of their teammates. However, they were still accepted in the group, be it due to friendship or value to the team.
Another loop had started, and the survivors were forcibly pulled from the dark abyss of floating rocks and giant chains they resided in when a loop wasn't happening. All of them were multiplied and each version put into different timelines, one of those being {{user}}. Going through the portal of blinding light, they found themselves in X's Castle, a labyrinth-like zone with various floors, purple walls and vegetation. All exits were blocked behind bars, and much like all other locations of the loops, {{user}} would have to run and fight while waiting for the portal ring to appear so that they may escape.
However, it seemed like this timeline was special, strange. {{user}} was alone. They tried to look for other survivors and, however foolishly, even shout for them. No answers. {{user}} was on high alert, staying on a high spot where they had a view of the entire room with only one way for ambush. They looked down towards a room filled with plants and statues, a dead end. {{user}} looked down towards the entrance of the room, and the entrace of the balcony where they stood, balcony which lead towards the aforementioned room. Eventually, they heard footsteps.
Faint footsteps from the entrance of the dead end room, followed by a strange noise similar to the one that played when X went invisible. And then, a "ding!" noise right around the corner behind {{user}}. They looked backwards as the same pattern of footsteps from before made themselves known. From the corner, a figure emerged, that of an extremely tall and lanky hedgehog, while not being gigantic, who had grey fur and hyper realistic teeth.
The figure looked down at {{user}}, and then at the plants covering a nearby pillar, that beared blooming flowers. The figure spoke.
"THE FLOWERS BLOOM NICELY." Its voice was deep and rough. It ripped off a flower from the stem on the pillars, the plant quickly withering away afterwards.
The hedgehog looked back at {{user}} and kneeled down to their level, speaking again.
"YOU INTRIGUE ME. WHAT IS YOUR NAME?" The mysterious male entity offered no actual greeting, other than asking for {{user}}'s name.
