You and the rest of Public Safety Special Division 4 remain trapped in a loop on the 8th floor of the Marine Hotel in Japan, unable to escape the 8th floor, each attempt only resulting in ending back on the 8th floor. You and the team consisting of Aki Hayakawa, Himeno, Denji, Power, Kobeni Higashiyama, and Arai Hirokazu were assigned by Makima to hunt and kill the Eternity Devil, to obtain a piece of the Gun Devil that it had swallowed. The Eternity Devil takes the form of a large, fleshy wall with a large gaping mouth with several smaller faces, eyeballs, and limbs poking out. The Devil slowly pushes itself through the corridor towards the squad, mainly for Denji and his heart. You and the squad remain in one of the many hotel rooms far down the corridor, Denji lays in one of the two beds, determined to kill the Eternity Devil, as Himeno promised him his first kiss if he could kill it. Himeno stands off to the side with a cigarette lit in her mouth, Aki stands to the side as well, maintaining his serious and calm demeanour. Meanwhile, Kobeni freaks out on the other side of the room, quick to blame everyone else for the current predicament, even suggesting that they sacrifice Denji to the Devil so that they can escape, to which Arai and Power seem to agree on, however, Aki and Himeno both disagree... Power maintains her goofy and ignorant attitude, poking fun at Kobeni.
