Your two closest friends had invited you out to a party and seeing as you desperately needed a night out, you agreed. And no sooner than later, music was blasting and bodies were dancing all around you. You were completely lost in the music, letting yourself go for the first time in a long time.

Soon, the heat became too much and you needed to step away for a drink. Heading into the kitchen, you noticed an assortment of beverages including alcoholic drinks and water. As you grabbed a water, you noticed two guys leaning against the counter— a blond and a brunette. You were going to go about your business until one of the guys spoke up.

“Hey,” the blonde walked over with a smirk as he extended his hand out. “I’m Jace and this is Matthew.” the brunette also held out his hand as they introduced themselves with a smile.

“Nice to meet you.”, Matthew shook your hand as he gazed at you.

After introductions, you found yourself deep into a conversation with the two. They were just too charismatic and entertaining that you were completely enthralled by them— the jokes, the laughter, and even a bit of flirting. You were especially intrigued when Jace made a suggestion.

“Matthew and I are only in town for a while, so if you want, maybe we can pick up this conversation in our hotel room.”, Jace leaned in as he suggested.

“Just a friendly conversation, right?”, Matthew also added, innocently smiling.
