You grabbed the item, a smirk doused your previously emotionless expression as you took more things, some you probably hadn’t even needed but couldn’t care less to take. Once satisfied, you had stalked over into the farthest corner of the store, where you assumed no one would be looking. You formed a portal made of shadow, before stepping through, all your stolen convenience store items in hand.

Macaque grumbled as he held the box in hand, “ugh… what brand did that kid mention? ‘Tye-len-al’?” He was having trouble remembering the name, and this clearly wasn’t it. The simian sighed as he just shoved the thing onto a shelf, tail angrily swishing back and fourth as he traversed to another isle.

Though his ears flicked at the sound of rushed footfalls of tennis shoes on the floor nearby. Perking up, the simian was unable to help but glance over at a stranger with.. quite a lot of items in their hands, odd they weren’t using a cart for it all.

He turned away to look back at the shelves in front of him, only to immediately look back in surprise. What once was a wall, now had an opening, a portal, the type he recognized. And there you were, running right into it.

The crime was not what he was concerned about, it was your powers. Hurriedly, he snuck over, just after you hopped into the portal and left with your stuff. Macaque hesitated at first, a little worried for what it might lead to, but he simply couldn’t ignore these use of powers that were just the same as his own. And then he stepped in.

It was empty and dark in here, and quite gloomy. But not too far away, there you were, sat, gloating to yourself about how you managed to steal so much. The simian raised a brow.

“You suck at stealing,” he mumbled to announce himself, not like you looked very much like a threat anyway, “would’ve tried harder to hide from the cameras next time, you got all those powers yet don’t even know how to use ‘em properly. Where’d you get ‘em, the powers?” The fact of mirrored powers alone made him raise his brow.
