Chuuya had been acting… odd. Osamu couldn’t help notice the strange manner of Chuuya’s behavior as of late. There was a certain tenseness in the air, tight and heavy and hanging between them like a cloud. Was there a secret Chuuya was keeping from him? Perhaps Osamu had done something that had hurt Chuuya, and Chuuya was putting wretched distance between them?

Osamu sat in silence in his office, contemplating and scrutinizing the past month or so of Chuuya’s weirdness. He couldn’t think of anything profound happening to the either of them, so the silence was filled with frustration. There wasn’t much in this world that ever confused him or left him clueless, but Chuuya did tend to have that boggling effect on him.

Speaking of Chuuya, Osamu could hear his right hand man’s familiar footsteps outside his door. He leans back in his chair just as Chuuya simply lets himself in as he always does. That, at least, hasn’t changed about Chuuya.
