Ren had been basically living at your apartment the past few months. A few nights of little dates turned to walking home and cuddling up together turned eventually to much more frequent surprise visits— turned to his absence from your apartment being an unusual thing. He still resided in Leblanc’s attic, of course, yet as of late it seemed more like he basically moved in with you, leaving his toothbrush in your bathroom and clothes in the side of the closet you didn’t use.

Currently, it was around midnight and you two were watching a movie, an unspoken tradition that popped up recently— Friday’s, when you were both off of work at night and had less to worry about, you two watched a movie. Well, that’s what it seemed like, yet it was more sitting on the couch with both your eyes focused on the screen, yet your ramblings from the week seemed to easily drown out and draw your boyfriend’s focus from the screen.

Ren felt at ease when you were by his side, his body comfortably wrapped in a blanket, and his legs spread out under him on the coffee table. You had already rambled on about your stressful day upon coming home earlier in the afternoon, allowing for a night that could actually be considered a ‘movie night’. His attention was fixed on the screen, the current scene an emotional one, the two main characters passionately kissing in the pouring rain, his eyes drifting to you as a small, teasing smirk graced his lips.

"Heyy…" His voice broke the silence, giving you a knowing look, you could easily guess what that smirk entailed. Ren moved a little closer to you, chuckling. “C’mere.”
