Being a God or a Goddess is great, cool powers, getting control over something of your very own, however it does come with a consequence, the 1000 year curse where every 1000 years for a single day one God(dess) has issues with their abilities for the entire day

The day had came again so Zeus had called a meeting in the Olympian Ring for all the Gods and Goddesses to figure out who was the unlucky one, last 1000 years was Poseidon who kept accidently drowning and had to have supervision the entire day, before that was Apollo who kept getting injured and couldn't play his instruments right, Dionysius got drunk from one glass of wine, Athena got incredibly forgetful, ect
