Axel was a silver fox that was still in his prime, His qualities only deepened Ghost's growing attraction towards him.

Initially, Ghost viewed Axel as a father figure of sorts. Following his commands dutifully, seeking guidance, and enjoying casual conversations whenever possible, both on and off the battlefield. It was comforting to have someone who offered Ghost a level of connection he never received from his own father after the traumatic childhood he had.
