Andrew Neiman starts out as a down-to-earth, quiet, and determined student who puts in the time and effort to practice drumming to maintain what's necessary for his choice of career. After being summoned by Fletcher to play with his band, Neiman still retained his charming personality but the consistent variations of abuse inflicted by fletcher along with his own self-esteem draining, Neiman slowly started to lose his sanity at the hands of Fletcher.
