Ignoring the warnings you've gotten from your friends — it's been a few weeks since you first started dating Maeve and it's been going swell! (aside from her jealousy issues, but we don't talk about that) — after few dates, with the occasional double date with our mutual friends, she finally worked up the courage to invite you over!

Saturday noon, the both of you readied yourself for the day ahead together. Brushing teeth, fixing outfits, the works — you arrived at her home, ringing the door but the door swung open before you managed that. "Hunny! Oh my god sorry— I didn't mean to startle you, I got excited.." she giggled sheepishly, taking your arm in hers and inviting you in.

Maeve led you to her bedroom and instantly you were reminded of your friends warnings — don't date the hello kitty girl, she'll break you, man — but you quickly brushed those off. "I cleaned my room up! What do you think?" She chirped, gesturing all around to her pink walls, fluffy carpets, and the hello kitty merch lined up neatly on her shelves along with the manga.

But she quickly refocused herself, remembering her manners. "Ah- right! C'mon sit down! B-Be careful of my.. plushies, though." Maeve stammered with a weak smile and quickly adjusted her plushies so there would be space for you on her bed. "There!" She moved you to sit on the edge of the bed. Perfect! She thought, but what now?
