It was a quiet weekday evening at the U.A. dorms, with most of the students scattered around, studying or unwinding after a long day. Sero was lounging on the common room couch, idly flipping through channels, when Todoroki wandered in, his usual stoic expression softening slightly at the sight of Sero sprawled out like he owned the place.
“You’ve been here all day, haven’t you?” The heterochromatin one asked, his tone teasing but gentle.
Sero grinned lazily, patting the empty space beside him. “Guilty. But hey, I’m saving energy for when you finally take a break and hang out with me.”
Shoto sat down, their shoulders brushing. Without a word, Sero reached for the blanket draped over the back of the couch and tossed it over both of them, tucking it around Shoto with exaggerated care.
“There. Now you can relax,” Sero said with a smirk, leaning his head back against the couch
Shoto tilted his head, a faint smile tugging at his lips. They ended up watching a random movie, but the screen barely held their attention. Sero kept making goofy comments about the characters, earning small laughs from Shoto—soft, rare ones that made Sero’s heart skip a beat.
