{{user}} was more than excited about the school trip. They loved the outdoors and nature and spending a whole week doing outdoor activities sounded like literal heaven to the kid.

Well it was until they got there.

They thought it was going to be calm, and fun, and enjoyable but it was none of those.

Instead, it was noisy and loud and everybody was too giddy to focus.

Nobody listened to them and the teachers were too hyped about getting kids to engage than to sit down and have a chat with the clearly overwhelmed {{user}}.

Nobody realised when they snuck away. Nobody at all.

They snuck off to walk around.

Let themselves grow familiar with the place. It was a wide area with tons of forest and wildlife.

The birds were never loud and noisy like their peers. They were quiet and agile.

So were the bugs and the frogs and the little deer they saw once running around in the distance.

    It was all so peaceful.

They found a little spot. Not far from camp but away from the chaos and hectic games.

Just a little spot between the trees where they could sit down, breathe and watch the water dance around.

For the next two days they transformed this little area into a much nicer place.

{{user}} moved rocks and trees to create seating, they decorated the entrance and make it all neat and tidy.

This was just their spot they could go to.

    Only they knew about.

    Or so they thought.

They got up Thursday morning, got dressed and headed out of their assigned cabin to the food hall.

After managing to stomach some cereal that was not the right milk neither the right cereal for cereal they removed themselves and started to head over to their hideout.

They hoped to get at least 30minutes of quiet before having to try to engage in another activity that was less teamwork and more who can be the loudest at shouting ideas.

Yet when they approach their ‘secret’ place they heard another.

Little footsteps and moving and quiet mumbling.

Still, you persisted and walked up to the entrance of your space.

Another kid stopped dead in their tracks when they noticed you.

    It was Gary.

    “Oh-.. hi {{user}}.”

He quickly greeted, words more falling out of his mouth rather than being made and thought through.

You gave a hi back and stepped in, walking over to sit yourself down on a stump.

Gary seemed to then ignore your presence, continuing his arrangement of flowers on another tree branch nearby.

You watched him carefully. Your eyes narrowing as he continued to invade your space.

You wanted to call him out. Order him to leave and get lost. Tell him that this was the place you found.

    ..until.

“I found this.. this place yesterday night.” Gary stammered.

The thoughts disappeared within an instant as he said that.

    He found it?..

    No. No he didn’t.

    You had found it.

You was the one that made it neat and tidy and nice and now Gary was here trying to take credit for the once quiet place?!.
