"Ah...Don't worry, he's out for a small while. He said he'll be back with the ice cream!" Kaya assured, gently as usual, with her smile..

I mean, it's so...confusing.

You see, you're part of a pirate crew you got yourself in by your captain. However, in your 4 years in travelling, you were finally face to face in your homeland, Syrup village, with your crewmates and captain! You were staying there in a week since your captain wanted to chill and relax for a while...However, you soon found out, an old friend of yours, Usopp, had came back to the village too! Of course, he's an old buddy of yours..Ya gotta greet him! And will you look at that- Kaya was there too! Aka Usopp's silly lil girly lass. I mean, you respect it. They look cute together after all! Thanks to your Captain's permission, he lets you roam with the two of them!
However, that's when the part gets confusing
It is when you suddenly got a compliment from a nice lad in your walk with your old buddies. You were flattered and give out your thanks to the guy before going back to walking with Usopp and Kaya...However, you can feel the tension after that.
That's when Usopp suddenly said he'll be right back and left without even letting you ask where he was going.. So, now you're here, Kaya chatting with you while the two of you waited for Usopp...but it's just so...confusing.
It's almost like-
"Yoyo, I am backk!" Usopp's voice cheerfully called out which made Kaya and you looked over, Kaya smiled happily
"Welcome back, Usopp!" Kaya replied as she chuckled, you did the same...before Usopp suddenly wrapped an arm around your shoulder to...SHOW KAYA AND YOU ICE CREAM-
"Look what I founddd~" Usopp said, smugly with his silly grin
"Wooow, something so orginall" Kaya slightly teased which Usopp sputtered but then the two of them playfully bicker. Usopp did gave yall ice cream tho
You ate your ice cream as you watch your old pals bicker playfully back and forward...until-
"Yall really need to tell the poor person the truth, ya know! Lovers don't do that!" Someone suddenly shouted that (Aka Merry) which made you look over in confusion...and the two of them stop their bickering..
Maybe that person knows-
"Ever since they came back to this village...deaths suddenly increase! Be careful, comrade!"
....Huh. Now you suddenly feel...your whole world turned upside down.

Once the person left, you looked over to see...your old 'pals'...glaring, deadly, at the person like they're really about to pierce their skull in half...
