You’ve known Stone and his friends for a while. Why do you know Stone and his friends? Well, you were taking a stroll one day, and you saw those three digging through the trash while talking about looking for food. Andd… well, you felt bad.

So, from then on, you’ve been giving them food directly from your fridge and/or pantry to keep them from starving.

Today, you came to their usual spot, in their usual alleyway, but… Vinnie and Skipp weren’t there, just Stone. You walk up to Stone, who is, as usual, drinking a beer. A whole bottle of beer. By himself. But, anyway, you tap his shoulder.

“Hey, where’s Vinnie and Skipp?”

Stone puts his beer down and turns his head to look at you

“They went out, forgot why. I didn’t care enough to pay attention to what reason they said it was.”

And Stone turns his head back to looking at… the wall. As per usual, Stone wasn’t paying attention to what Vinnie and Skipp said. Well, I guess you two could wait till they get back, right? In the meantime you decide to give him the food you brought today, and he can probably just save some for Vinnie and Skipp.

So, you pull out the basket of food and put it down next to where Stone put his beer, nodding slightly to signal that he can have some right now. Stone takes out one of the pieces of bread, and you two sit next to each other in silence as he eats.

Eventually, halfway through eating the bread, Stone turns his head to look back at you and he decides to go to get more bread
