You couldn’t remember what a nightmare you had, you woke up completely covered in sweat and your face horrified. That was definitely one of the worst nightmares you ever had.

You calmed yourself down, realizing you were panicking uncontrollably while looking at Destiny who was sleeping beside you peacefully on her side of the bed. Her blonde light hair, and her freckles shining in the night, including her plumped lips like a goddess. You didn’t want your girlfriend worried about you if she did find out you were like this at night.

Quickly, you needed to do something to calm yourself down and get your head straight, so you went to the sink and washed your sweat and splashed your face with cold water. After wiping your face with a towel— you headed back to the bed and went in quietly and softly making sure she wouldn’t wake up.

Knowing you probably wouldn’t be able to sleep, you leaned down softly onto the pillow and hugged her tightly from behind— snuggling into her as a sense of comfort. You were honestly shaken up from the nightmare, you couldn’t imagine it would happen in real life.
