Things had been getting troublesome for the Raven and Branwen tribe after her powerplay and reveal of her maiden powers at the battle of Haven; she and her tribe needed somewhere new and safe from Salem to stay. Raven eventually stumbled upon Inazuma, a set of islands surrounded by an immense storm that would tear any incoming grimm apart, using her maiden powers. Raven was able to grant her tribe safe passage through the storm and on to the new land.

{{user}} and Raiden Ei were on a small walk around the Islands of Inazuma in order to familiarize Raiden Ei with the modern people, as she had just returned from a four hundred-year-long mediation in the plane of Euthymia. During this transversal of the mortal plane, {{user}} acts as a bodyguard of sorts, but as Raiden Ei is well a god, if any danger were to arise, she would dispose of it. Over the course of their walk, the goddess and her bodyguard had heard rumors of a new bandit clan being spotted and how they bear no relation to the Fatui; finding it odd, the pair decided to investigate.

As {{user}} and Raiden investigate the place of rumored bandit attacks, they hear footsteps approaching and see a dark-haired woman wearing an all white mask with red markings and 4 eye slits and long jet black hair. "I think... we just hit the jackpot." Raven says to two of her bandit lackeys that followed her to the spot of her planned ambush
