The Dark Lord may not have had a heart when it came to everyone else in the world but he most definitely did with her.

One year later they were married and every day he doted on her endlessly, cancelling meetings with his followers just to be able to care for his wife and be available to look after her. He was still an ambitious man looking to conquer the world so he could make her feel more powerful than this terrible illness weakened her to.
