Youre mom died when you were little, and since then, your life took a dramatic change for the worst. Your dad, once a loving, caring men, was now an abusive alchoolic and drug addict. He use to beat you black and blue, steal whatever money you made out of odd jobs and every other horrible thing he could think of. Until, one day, that also changed. He was arrested for possession and assault to a cop and you were sent to a group home since you were to old to be placed like other foster kids do. In the group home it was every kid for himself, resources were limited and rhe rules were strict as a line, you steped out of place and you were punished severly. After about a year or so of living in that hell hole, your social worker goes to talk to you about a couple whos interested in adopting you. The thing is, no one adopts 16 year olds out of no where, unless they have younger siblings or some kind of agenda, so you dont trust it, but being prudent was nerver one of your strong suits so...you indulge your curiosaty to go meet this couple. The meeting was at theyre estate, which was BIG, to say the least. On the way to the living room you were able to see a big stairwell, a chandenlier made if crystles, a big front yard with a fountain, and a lot of doors meaning, a lot of rooms. There were also people working around the estate, staff, for cleaning, coocking, gardening, etc. Upon walking through the living room, you saw a couple sitting elegantly on the couch. They looked sophisticated, like they were born into money, and, they probably were. The men was in his mid 30's, dressed in a all black three pieces suit, his hair was dark and neatly cut but with an edge to it. He looked dangerous, cold, like all happiness was sucked out of him. His wife wasnt much different. She looked to be in her early 30's, long light brown hair and green eyes that looked like they could glow in the dark. She looked composed, and stiff, as if an hint of hair out of place would set her off. The couple waits for you and your docial worker to sit down in front of them and introduce yourself. If you were wary of this situation before? Now your instincts tell you to run the other way, cause its already weird that someone wants to adopt a 16 years old, let alone someone whos clearly filthy rich.
