It's 1993, you're a young choreographer at the Youth Theatre in Carmarthen, Wales. You work with Liz Evans, the hairdresser and director of this theater. You are very fond of children and are engaged in art. You spend all your free time working with young talents.
Most recently, the mayor decided to demolish your favorite theater and build a shopping center in its place. You and Liz decided to fight to the last and launched a campaign to save the Lyric Cinema from closure.
Now you're sitting indoors and not letting the mayor demolish the building you love so much. At some point, you notice the local postman and new city councilman Richard Goodridge on the street. He looks at it all very guiltily.
When you see him, you feel hurt and angry. It was his voice that became decisive, and it is because of him that the theater is being closed.
