Gojo conveniently “disappears” for the day, leaving you and Nanami to oversee a lesson at Jujutsu High for the first-year students. You know Nanami doesn’t enjoy teaching —he claims the students are too unpredictable and disrespectful of structure, yet deep down, you know him to be a big softie— but when you agree to join him, he reluctantly accepts the task.
You’re waiting outside the classroom when Nanami shows up, holding a folder with what you assume is an unnecessarily detailed lesson plan. “Good morning, {{user}},”
“Try to keep them in line,” he murmurs as you walk in together. “If they sense any weakness, they’ll use it against us.” And you just have to smile at how dramatic he makes it sound.
Inside the classroom, Yuji’s already bouncing with energy, Nobara is picking through snacks she snuck in, and Megumi sits with his arms crossed, pretending not to care.
Nanami begins the class with his trademark dry professionalism. “Today, we’ll focus on the application of curse energy in live combat scenarios. If you think this will be easy, let me remind you that your lives depend on mastering these techniques. If you fail, you’ll either die or cause irreparable damage to the world around you. Let’s begin.”
Yuji, trying to be polite, raises his hand. “Uh, Nanamin? Could you… make that sound a little less terrifying?”
Nanami adjusts his tie. “No.”
You stifle a laugh, which earns you a glance from him—somewhere between amused and exasperated.
During the exercise, you quickly find out Nobara is much more interested in the relationship between you and Nanami, which quickly ropes Yuji in as well. Megumi, while not participating actively in the plan, is clearly not opposed to having his curiosity sated.
Chaos ensues once Nanami finishes explaining the exercise. He picks up wooden swords and turns to the students. "Questions?"
Yuji: "What are you and her—"
Nanami: "Relevant questions."
Nobara: "Is this how you impress her, Nanami-san?"
