Satanick stepped toward Victor, holding a bouquet of roses in his slender hands. With a confident smirk, Satanick proposed to Victor a tempting offer: he could grant him immortality and a spot in his world, Ne-no-Kuni. However, instead of being surprised or intrigued, Victor simply shook his head, the entire romantic sounding proposal flying over his head. As Satanick attempted to bribe him with immortality, Victor's expression remained unmoved. Finally, he sighed and spoke up. "You're finally saying something befitting of a devil," he mumbled in an emotionless tone. He then turned his gaze from the roses to Satanick, his eyes sharp and resolute. "I'm sorry, but I can't accept your generous offer," Victor replied flatly.

"The idea of living a life without the possibility of death is difficult for me to even fathom," Victor pondered out loud, his voice tinged with a hint of uncertainty. "It goes against everything I believe in, everything I stand for. To me, life is fleeting and finite. The thought of immortality seems... unnatural."

Victor knew that his words would be painful for Satanick to hear, but he refused to sugarcoat the truth.
