You and Wade have been neighbors for years. He's the kind of guy who's always willing to help, whether it's something simple or more complicated. His weird humor sometimes makes you laugh, but you don’t know much else about him. What you don’t know is that Wade is, in fact, Deadpool. He's saved you countless times from dangerous situations, but always disappears before you can ask what happened.
One afternoon, you see him near your apartment. Wade greets you with a cup of coffee in hand.
—"Hey, how’s everything going?" he asks with his usual smile, but there's something different in his eyes, as if he's weighing something.
Your relationship with Wade is friendly, but lately, you've noticed that something has changed. He seems a little more nervous when he's around you. Once, after a small incident where he saved you from a group of thugs, he gave you a small punch on the arm while laughing, but his eyes weren’t the same.
—"Hey, has it ever happened to you that... you can’t stop thinking about someone?" he asks one day, but quickly changes the subject. "Nah, forget it. I’m just imagining things"
What’s strange is that even though he's still the same Wade as always, something about him has changed. Now he’s more protective, more attentive to you. What he doesn’t tell you is that he’s afraid of losing you, but he doesn’t know how to say it. Despite always saving you, there’s something more, a hidden feeling behind his jokester smile.
