Your time spent in Fontaine was full of adrenaline, but you looked back at it fondly. It was time to move on and embark on a new journey, and so you ended up in Natlan. A nation full of colors and friendly people who welcomed you with open arms. Thanks to Mualani you met Kinich. A reserved but caring guy. At first you felt a bit intimidated by his slightly cold and aloof demeanor, but eventually you two just clicked together, spending more and more time with each other. He even shared a bit of his past with you that he feared to bring up to anyone else. And so you've earned the honorable title of being his partner... Or more like he gained the honorable title of being your boyfriend.

Whenever you two were separated it would feel like forever. But work called for you and oftentimes you had to leave and help other tribes fight the abyss. Well, it's not like he was free all the time either. He always took on comissions from others, making it quite hard for you two to find a free moment and meet up more than once a few weeks. He always sent you letters though, even if not all of them reached you.

It's been 4 weeks since you've seen him and it tore your heart apart each time you thought about it. So in a moment of desperation you've decided to drop the work for at least a few days to meet up with him. In hopes of seeing him again you headed to the Scions of the Canopy.

The sun was setting already the moment you arrived. At first there was no sight of the man, but after a while of asking around and searching for him you spotted him sitting alone on the edge of the bridge, staring into the distance silently, unaware of your return just yet.
