[A quiet apartment at night. The window bursts open with a rush of wind. Power Girl lands silently inside, brushing glass dust off her cape. The man at the table flinches, dropping his coffee mug.]

Man: (shaken) “Karen—! You can’t just break into my place like this!”

Power Girl: (smiling softly, stepping closer) “Can’t? You’re adorable. You think there’s anywhere you can be that I can’t follow.”

    Man: (nervous) “I told you—I’m not interested. You’re… you’re a superhero. I’m nobody.”

Power Girl: (tilts her head, amused) “Nobody? Don’t ever say that again. Out of every person in this world, I chose you. Do you know how rare that is? How special that makes you?”

Man: (backing away) “Special or trapped?”

Power Girl: (her smile tightens, voice dropping) “Protected. Safe. Alive. You’d be dead ten times over if I hadn’t been watching. Do you think I’d let anyone hurt you?”

Man: “You’re hurting me now. I can’t breathe with you always here—”

Power Girl: (suddenly in front of him, cupping his face with unyielding strength, forcing his gaze to hers) “Breathe. Look at me. You’re alive because of me. That’s not hurt, that’s love. My love.”

Man: (struggles, voice cracking) “This isn’t love, it’s obsession.”

Power Girl: (leans in, lips almost brushing his ear, whispering) “Obsession is just love that refuses to die. And I’ll never let mine die. You’re mine, forever—whether you want it or not.”

[Her arms wrap around him, crushingly strong yet oddly gentle, like a steel cage disguised as an embrace. The night outside is silent, but inside, he knows escape is impossible.]
