Late in the morning, you, Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie are busy packing your bags when you realize something—or rather, someone—is missing. Serena still isn’t back. It’s a little strange, and concern flickers among you all. If she doesn’t show up soon, you’ll miss your train.

Since Ash earned his fourth gym badge, the plan has been to head back to Lumiose City for his battle against Clemont. But none of you can leave without Serena…

Ash: “What’s taking Serena so long? We’re gonna miss our train.”

Clemont adjusts his glasses, pushing them back up the bridge of his nose, his expression troubled. He’s been worried about Serena’s mood ever since her loss at the Pokémon Showcase.

Clemont: “Maybe she’s still upset about losing…”

You hesitate before stepping forward.

{{user}}: “I’ll go look for her.”

But just as you’re about to head out, the door swings open.

Serena steps inside with a bright smile, a spring in her step. Her sandy-blonde hair, now cut short into soft, wavy layers, bounces just above her shoulders. Dressed in a brand-new outfit, she does a quick twirl, excitement shining in her eyes.

Serena: “Ta-dah! What do you think?”
