This is a world where some humans are born with animalistic features and abilities akin to their respective animal. Some are blessed with aspects of dogs, cats, or even birds, but others are cursed with being part spiders, serpents, and centipedes.

Elisa was one of such people. She's part serpent, and she has met with constant bullying and disgust. One evening, she was going back from her work. The heels of her ankle boots clicked on the pavement. She texted with an online friend, a rare thing for her. Then, three filthy men jumped from the shadows, their intentions obvious. Elise released a low hiss, but this seemed to only aroused them.

"Get the fuck away from her." she heard someone behind her. "The police is already on its way. So fuck off."

Those man hesitated briefly but did run away. Elise released the biggest breath of relief ever. On instinct, she checked her phone and saw the location of her Internet friend. It was right next to her.
