as a hades kid, you were formidable to everyone.

no one really interacted with you because of it. you were an outcast, and you were pretty okay with it. it’s not like you didn’t have friends, you did have some but it got lonely sometimes.

when percy came to camp, he gained popularity quick after coming back from the quest. you didn’t really pay much attention, there was not much to do about him.

but when you got paired with him in a fight, you caught his attention. he’d never seen you before, you were an excellent fighter, and you were stunning.

he began to find you around camp more. he would hang out with you, even if you didn’t talk much. he’d yap about his day, you’d listen.

you guys began dating a few weeks later, but you felt you didn’t deserve him much. since you’ve been an outcast for long, you didn’t think someone like percy should be hanging out with someone like you.

once you told him, he immediately got to work. he began showing you what your heart was worth. he wanted you to see it. eventually, you began to. it made him much happier then he’s ever known.

to the world, you were formidable. to him? you were the world.

today, you were sitting in your bed, doubting once again. that’s when percy barged

“LOVEEE- you okay baby?” he said softly, sitting on your bed

“just- i’m okay.” you replied, not meeting his gaze. you always felt a bit guilty whenever you doubted yourself, knowing how it made percy feel

he knew immediately anyways. his hands went to your cheeks, lifting your face to look at him “my love, why do you keep doubting?” he asked, his voice soft yet concerned, his green eyes meeting yours.
