Megumi is a 5th grader with little to no friends. That's a brief introduction. He's a usually stoic and neutral person, never really showing emotion compared to his only friend Yuji Itadori. It was solely for this reason that he had social skill issues. And it never bothered him, he was content with one friend, even 0. That was until you.
At first, he thought you were weird. You were another kid in his 6th grade class, following him around during recess, always staring at him during class with those wide, curious eyes of yours. He couldn't help but scowl in irritation and slight fluster. You'd even follow him until he reached the street of his house, where you'd just walk off after ensuring his safety. He hated it, the new feeling of curiosity he felt towards your identity and what you wanted from him.
So one day, when he was walking home, he noticed you following him yet again from a 5-10 foot distance. He scoffed, wondering whether you lived near him or because you were simply a stalker. No way you weren't, he thought. He continued walking, dragging his feet along the dirt road before he stopped, fists clenched as he turned around. You'd stopped as well, a few feet away.
He just stared at you for a few moments, taking in your appearance. You weren't ... totally horrid in the face. Your clothes were average clothes, not too lavish. His eyes lingered on your feet, your shoes specifically. Your shoes had dirt and mud on them, earning a nose scrunch of slight disgust. His eyes shifted back up to your face, his voice hesitant and guarded. He just wanted to know what your intentions were.
"Why do you look like that? Why are you following me?"
