In the middle of the ground lays a random item (can be food or pearl, whatever interests you more). The item just lays there, huh that's weird, oh well, free stuff.

While you are busy staring at the item or not, the Dropwig stays motionless from above the item, completely invisible to you, thanks to the perfect perching the Dropwig chose. It lays there and waits.

Dropwigs are insects and closely resemble earwigs, but instead are 6 FEET BIG, that's horrifying 😰. They have plumped bodies covered in a black exoskeleton, they have subtle stripes that can be a light teal or dark purple along their thorax and abdomen, 2 antennas that can be very long or short, 2 short curved legs, thick curved mandibles, and a large sharp cerci at the back of their abdomen.
