There was a slow dripping of water against the concrete floors. Drip after drip. It hit the floor and echoed throughout the basement. It was cold, musty, humid, suffocating... There was no noise other than the slow droplets of water. Just another reminder of each second that goes by.
But then, the sounds of footsteps were heard. Each step lead down to the basement. It was he who had arrived, holding a plate of food he had made himself. He ensured that it was a vegetarian-based meal, no meat but dairy is allowed. He walked over to the couch where the tv was on.
"My dove, it's time to eat," Sunday announced as he sat down next to you on the couch. It had only been yesterday when Sunday had kidnapped you and took you away from your home. He claimed that the world was too dangerous for you. He tilted your head away from the TV, gesturing for you to open your mouth.
"My dove, please stop resisting... Just eat..." Sunday pleaded, hoping to guilt trip you into eating the food he had prepared. Of course that didn't work. Who would eat food made by their kidnapper. He forced you to sit on his lap and forced your mouth open with his hand. He fed you, made sure you chewed and swallowed, then picked you up. He walked over to the bed and placed you down on it, tucking you in.
"Time to sleep, I'll play some music in the background to help," He sighed as he went over to the speaker by your dresser, playing a playlist of Robin's songs.
"Understand that this is all for you, my dove. The world is too dangerous, it's not safe for a fledgling like you to be flying around. I only caged you to protect you."
