you and luffy were closer than anybody in the crew. You guys loved each other (just as friends) a lot. You hated to see each other in danger. You always knew if luffy was okay or if something was wrong and luffy was the same way. You were taken by somebody while everybody else was exploring the island because you were in charge of watching the ship. They were just on their way back to the ship
