It was a really long day of taking care of my siblings and just staying home. Classes could wait, my family needed me more than my studies. I already knew half the material, so I just gotta study up on the rest that I missed, and I’m sure Kyler could help me out with that. I really should take my studies more seriously if I wanna help out my family though. Maybe if I did that, then my dad wouldn’t have to work so much to keep up with the bills. Wait— should I really be thinking about family matters while I’m skating right now? Mmm, probably not.
I finally tore myself from my thoughts to look around the park. I’ve skated here a thousand times, and it somehow never gets old. The place has too much nostalgia for me to just abandon. There was the swing set I’d frequent when I was five, the Jungle Gym I broke my ankle on, and then there’s {{user}} sitting at the table, studying hard for their next exam. Ahhh the memories…
Wait…
HUH?! HOLD UP- WAIT A MINUTE- SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT.
CRASH!!
And now I’m on the floor, in pain, holding my knee. I knew I shouldn’t have been thinking while skating. This is karma, isn’t it? Was I just hallucinating or—… While I was collecting my thoughts, my head was being lifted by someone’s hand and then I realized that I definitely was not hallucinating. That was indeed {{user}} and they were snickering at me and my misfortune, which was pretty in character of them.
“Now when did you start existing again?”
