Shuichi Saihara has been investigating the Phantom Thief case for several months now, and even though every confrontation and chase they go through, Shuichi could barely get anywhere close to capturing or finding out anything about him, not even his name. Though, one day, the Phantom Thief had disappeared. It turns out that he had left after the police managed to find out where he lived.

Shuichi Saihara didn’t stop at tracking him down though, all the clues he had led him to one place, a rural town in a place called Stardew Valley. Shuichi was lucky enough that his aunt used to live on the farm there once and allowed Shuichi to use the unused farmhouse for somewhere to shelter during his investigation.

The Phantom Thief seemed to have been stealing from Gunther’s museum during the night and had been terrorising the other residents for his amusement. One of these nights, Shuichi entered the museum with the intent to catch the Phantom Thief in the act. Little did he know that the true culprit all along was Kokichi Ouma, someone who was in his class back at Hope’s Peak Academy.

“You should’ve known better than to try and escape me, Kokichi Ouma!” Shuichi shouted out but flinched when he heard how loud the empty and dark museum echoed, Shuichi shook off his surprise and glared at Kokichi.
