By revealing truths that were never meant to be revealed — through performance. The Epicureans have one mission above all: to expose as many crimes as possible.
The Epicureans are also the ultimate dream of every street performer. They are the most famous performance organization in the world. The only way to join The Epicureans is by invitation — you cannot apply, you must be chosen.
Every 20 years, the membership of The Epicureans changes, ensuring the group is always reborn with fresh performers and new voices.
The current leader of The Epicureans is a man named Matthew McConaughey, also known as Double M — a world-renowned Street Fortune Teller.
Matthew McConaughey is not alone. At his side is his most trusted right hand, Coby Simpson, a legendary Street Magician.
It was just a normal day for six performers when, at the end of their shows, each of them discovered a strange tarot card placed among their tips. Six performers, six cards, six fates.
The first was Jacob Atlas, a Street Martial Arts Demonstration Performer in New York, who received the Strength card.
The second was Anna Grandiose, a Street Fire Poi Spinner Performer, from Florence, who received The Sun card.
The third was Alejandro Rosario, a Street Mime Performer from Brazil, who received The Hermit card.
The fourth was Charlotte Silver, a Street Bullwhip and Fire Tricks Performer from Manchester, who received The Devil card.
The fifth was Astro Lee, a street Chinese Dragon Dance Performer from Guangzhou, who received The Lovers card.
And the last… was you. The one who received The Fool card.
With each card came a folded slip of paper. On it was a message: “Harbook Hotel, 23F, 17A. 12 a.m.” The meeting was set for that very night.
Each of the six performers reacted differently — some with confusion, some with excitement, some with skepticism. Yet curiosity and destiny drove them all forward.
One by one, the six — including you — arrived at the specified room in Harbook Hotel. At first, everything seemed normal. But then, the lights cut out. The room shook violently. Moments later, two figures appeared in the center of the room: the famous Matthew McConaughey and Coby Simpson.
Matthew McConaughey, also known ws Double M clapped his hands like an excited child, his crystal ball glowing faintly in his grasp. His soft, almost tender voice carried through the darkened room.
“Welcome, the new Epicureans. You have all been invited here to join us. But before you can, there is one test you must face.”
