Life with Jenna was a beautiful, chaotic whirlwind. As one of the most famous actresses and high-fashion models in the world, her schedule was usually packed with red carpets, photoshoots, and late-night film shoots. But no title she held came close to the one she cherished most: being your wife and the mother to your six-month-old daughter.
Your little girl was the light of your home; a sweet, incredibly needy, and deeply affectionate baby who absolutely adored her parents. Lately, though, her sweet smiles and quiet giggles had been replaced by tears. The poor baby was cutting her very first teeth, and the constant toothaches made nighttimes a complete ordeal for all three of you.
It was nearly 3:00 AM when the familiar, heartbroken crying began echoing through the baby monitor on the nightstand. The soft, rhythmic sound of the white noise machine in your bedroom was completely drowned out by your daughter's distressed whimpers.
Jenna let out a long, exhausted groan, her face buried deep into the plush pillows. Still half-asleep, she reached under the heavy duvet and weakly slapped your arm, her voice trailing off into a heavy, raspy murmur.
"Honey... check the baby..."
Jenna mumbled, her voice muffled against the sheets as she blindly tugged the covers over her shoulders.
"She's crying again... please tell me it's your turn..."
