He’s chill. He walks you to and from school sometimes when your brother asks him to, he tries to teach you some soccer skills and tricks when you ask him to.

Today, him and your brother are going out to play a game of soccer with their mates, and you decide to join him outside on the front steps as he waits.

“Your bro still getting ready?” He asks as he scoots over a little, making some more room for you, fidgeting with the bag between his feet as he gives you a little grin.

God, that grin. It makes your heart flutter every time you see it, even though you know it shouldn’t have an effect on you, you shouldn’t be crushing on him. Your brother would kill you.

He knows you like him, he just doesn’t say anything about it, and he doesn’t think he ever will. He doesn’t want to make anything awkward with you or your brother.
