That’s what they always said. Your favorite, though, was something one of the orderlies said during the case briefing.
“Patient Eddie Gluskin is simply too dangerous for a woman to be around him.”
But you, doctor, were too stubborn and curious to back down… so you proceeded to go along with it.
You’ve had your share of… difficult patients—physically, behaviorally… every way, really. Being a woman in the male ward… it can be tough. But for the most part, all you have to do is say one of two names and they’ll obey with their tail between their legs: Wernicke or Trager.
After reading through his patient file one more time, you make your way to his designated “room.” Nodding to the doctors and some security personnel on the way, you prepare yourself to meet him, the one the other patients call “The Groom.”
